I have some troubles with my dizzy.
It does not do what it should do.
If I put it at 12° at 1000 rpm it goes to 40° at 6000 or more.
It is an Aldon red.

Any tips to solve this problem, or any tips for a better one ?

I get Swiftune to do my dizzys. Cheaper than Aldons and more suited as they are all custom for my specs.

Me? I absolutely love this unit:

http://www.tdcperformance.ca/

But it's just on a humble 848.
Modern unit that looks kinda out of place on a 43 year old car... 16 user programable curves though... and uses Bosch cap and rotor. Instead of the Luc  s parts
Don't know who would distribute the 123 on your side of the swamp.

Andreas,

Set your red spot to around 34° degrees of full advance & you will probably find that it works pretty well. 12° @ 1000 seems a heck of a lot of advance to me.

As has already been suggested, contacting one of the specialists to get a dizzy with a suitable curve "fitted" is a far better method than the Aldon 1 size fits all method.
