There is a big difference in quotes
1993 Escort Cosworth...£614
1978 Escort RS 2000 ...£613
2009 Pug 308 .....£237
1964 Mini Cooper S ....£102
I expected the Mini to be the most expensive to insure, because of the value and the power to weight ratio.

It is extraordinary value isn't it. When I first owned a Cooper S in the 1970s fully comp insurance cost about 50% of the car's value
