Weber/Delorto inlet manifold

I know that Mini manifolds for 40's have a pronounced 'upsweep' to clear the bulkhead, but does anyone have details of how much lower the carb sits with a Midget / Sprite Manifold?

I've been working on the Buck for the clubmans car, but the carb on the manifold I have is going to need a very large bulge, and I wonder if a Midget one would be better - lowering the carb down towards the level of the inlet ports? (I have a good 4" below the carb before it gets close to the chassis)

Anyone got a pic of one they could show me?

I want to be sure before I shell out on one to try it.

I might manage to create a bulge to fit either Twin SU's, a Webber, My Reece Fish etc etc, so want to look at the options early.

Anyway, here is where the manifold I have puts the carb:

You'll hit the front bulkhead cross member. I wouldn't cut that...,

That'd be a neat trick as the carb is pointing out sideways on this car Vegard!
