Nuffield Motor Products ? Washwood Heath?

Nuffield Metal Products. They made bodies for other parts of the Nuffield empire, including the body of my J type van, as well as Morris Minors, and apparently early Minis.
edit: sorry, hadn't realised Graham had replied first.

I think so. NMP is mentioned several times in the book "MINI: The True and Secret History of the Making of a Motor Car" by Simon Garfield, especially in the chapter titled "'This car is going to leak', said Jim Percival". It actually says "...Nuffield Metal Products, who built the bodies for Morris...". I don't know what proportion they built though.

Mine has the same stamp. Traced and documented as a 62 Morris Mini.
