Chrome reverse rims??

Hi Folks, I have just bought some reverse rims. 2 of them have the Cooper type centre riveted to a chrome outer rim. Rivetted wheels sound scary but I am more interested in who made them and any background to them. Presume aftermarket???I have seen them over the years but never taken any notice. Cheers. Mark

ive seen these before, they look great when they are all painted and polished up

I have a set of those. Had them on my first Mini back 25 years ago! Ouch

It's a fairly safe bet that these were made by Rubery Owen who made the riveted steel wheels for the Lotus Elan.
