Lurker coming out of the closet

Greetings,
I thought its about time that I introduce myself and hopefully start to contribute!
First things first, I'm Chris, 23 and from the High Wycombe area in sunny Bucks. I would probably say that I have always had a interest in mini's which probably originated from the Italian Job, but more of late my interest has started to grow with the mk1's, hence coming out in the open!
At this moment in time, I currently own a 1989 mini Mayfair, which I have started to give the classic look to ( mk2 rear lights, reversing lamp, sliding windows) but I currently looking for a nice mk1 (possibly Cooper) to replace with it.
Hopefully I can continue to learn shed loads from the site and various posts, (that's if you allow me to) and even be able to meet up at the various events thought out the year.
Chris
