With more and more Mini shows cropping up around the country, when Mini in the Park organisers Event Developments Ltd decided to launch a new indoor event next January it had to be totally unique. The show had to bring fresh ideas to keep the interest of the Mini enthusiast. With this in mind the 2014 New Year will see a brand new concept show called….’MINI IN THE DARK’ staged centrally at Newark in Nottinghamshire on Saturday 11th January.

With a chance to shake off the after-effects of the Christmas and New Year festivities, this indoor show will take up both of the massive indoor exhibition halls at Newark Showground and will be a late afternoon & evening event, kicking off at a very sociable 3pm!

Of course there will be massive Trade Stand and Autojumble areas for visitors to get their fix of Mini spares and mods, plus special features including a walk through Mini Gallery Experience featuring an extravaganza of Minis through the decades, complete with special lighting and sound.

Classic Minis and Modern MINIS can be displayed proudly at MITD, with awards available for ‘Best Illuminated Mini’ and ‘Best Club Display’.

Pre-booked day ticket holders can buy discounted advance tickets, gaining exclusive free access to VIP parking on-site.

Visitors can wrap up warm and venture outside for a spectacular after dark fire up of the awesome 800 BHP ‘Jet Mini’ and the gas turbine powered ‘TURBONATOR’ Mini, all topped off with a Grand Fireworks finale.
