Hi
Together with a 1275 GT and a lot of parts i purchased yesterday there was this nice old alloy rocker cover.
Is there anybody in here who knows the manufacture of this ?
I believe that the manfactures name once stod in the square at the top of the cover, but sometime in the past it has been machined of

Andy,
The Alexander covers & the HRG ones were both cast by HRG.

Hi
Thanks for all the answers. Yes a very nice find
. There was a lot of exciting parts with the car such as a genuine right hand tank, genuine new wide super mini fins, a mini fin rocker cover, 2 new brake regulator valves etc. The car it self is very rough and fitted with a horrible toilet seat in the roof and a weber box.
Best Regards Kristian

I'm never interested in who's right or wrong, the whole idea of the forum ios an honest exchange of views & opinions.
Your input is always very welcome.

on this forum. Specialy the special parts and accesoires of the '60.
Thanks every one.

Definately Alexander. My first MK1, an 850 super deluxe ECT 254D was Alexander converted from new in Bourne 1966 and had exactly the same rocker cover and twin Strombergs fitted. It had no heat shields and the petrol used to evaporate when the engine was hot so you had to start it from under the bonnet on the solenoid with the throttle held open!!!! Happy Days.
Tim.

I am after a Alexander converted HRG rocker cover. Could you convert a normal HRG or not ? As I have a few of them.
