Look what I've found (in a real barn!)

Post by Lord Croker »

After many years of hoping one day to discover my own 'barn find', I've done it! A Riley Elf, albeit in a bad state, I have seen worse. The front panel is wrong, but it looks as if someone had planned to graft the centre section of the original on to it. Doors & boot lid are missing. A hen has laid eggs in the back & the owner is now busily searching for the documentation (& the engine!). This is for general interest only at present, there are no plans to put it on the market yet, if & when that happens I will post it in the appropriate section of the forum. Meanwhile, the owner is going to make it more accessible so I can inspect it more fully.

Not quit sure about the ICE system! Look and the gaps with the green door and thought is was Healy 3000's which had exhaust pipes under the door!

 I was pleased to see that in keeping with road safety issues, the TV screen is angled away from the driver, I have a plan for the door gap, if I turn the green door through 90 degrees, it will look much better!
