Door preservation treatment?

Post by haynes »

What treatments are suitabe for using on the inside of the doors and rear bins etc?

Theres a little bit of surface rust down there and i want to keep it a bay.

I imagine something like waxoyl is too smelly and gundgy for the interior. Is there a better dinitrol product (and where to get hold of it)?

Silica desiccant packs if you don't mind pulling up the bin trim once in a while.

I use fisholene in my doors and bins - both before and after painting to keep the moisture out. Dinitrol ML is probably comparable in the UK.
It smells a little for a few weeks and then returns to normal.
