Tropical (not)Fan(tasitic)

Post by cheleker »

Another poorly made part to complain about. Fitted a brand new tropical fan yesterday. Spent more time getting the well stuck on Heritage sticker off of one of the blades than fitting the fan. As annoying as that was, that wasn't the problem. All four bolt holes were undersize! Had to drill them out to take the 1/4" bolts.

I bought 2 x two blade fans a while ago again off've eBay to a make a four blader.
Here, you don't have the option to drill out the holes, unless you have a Brigport milling machine handy - if they don't line up, you've had it. Even if you just use one of them, it probably won't be balanced sufficiently. Scrap metal
