i live in spain
a friend recently took me to a cortijo weekend retreat in a very remote location
he has a dutch friend who has this place and has a mini on his cortijo
how he ever got it there in the first place beats me but its definetely there
apart from the difficulty of getting it out of there needs 4 w d he wants to sell it
some things mystify me
it has a cooper badge on the bonnet but no badge on the rear
the year i would guess at about the late 80 s or 90s and with a single large s u carb cant date it as its on dutch number plates
also the interior has a walnut dash that extends round to just above the rear bins
i know this is the mk 1 forum but wondered if anyone can shed any light on this
also what its worth
a cursory examination revealed
new a panels
2 front wings
new scuttle panel
thanks in anticipation on anyones help

Re: mini cooper or not
engine and chassis numbers plus some pics would help identify it.

if anyone can help identify it will be very much appreciated it has a white roof and deep red metallic paint also speakers in the doors and a walnut dash continuing round and over the rear bins
photos were practically impossible due to the undergrowth
its like deepest africa down there

p s incidentally i saw that the panel between the rear of door and wheel arch has rotted through
