Bought this book at Beaulieu yesterday and it is excellent. Very detailed and a good comprehensive read. All through there are period adverts as well, which is a nice touch.

Yes I bagged a copy and there's quite a lot of period ads I'd not seen before. Also spoke with the vendor and asked about wheels to be told they probably won't be doing any more due to knackered tooling.

That's what they have been telling mere mortals for the last 10 years. If you are one of the chosen few however I'm sure they will still be available at a price.

I was sent a copy from Mr V, I found it a great read and a fantastic insight into the man, for those that know Nick it's suprise after suprise, he is not one to blow his own trumpet.
He's just a guy doing what he loves to do, and may I say without him the spares that we all take for granted may not have materialised for many years if at all.
As far as his wheels are concerned they were always a low volume affair, you cant really blame him for selling them to the people that he knew, the demand well out weighed the production.
You could have bought them from me in the early 90s, we had a couple of adds in the MW mag but only sold a few sets over 3 years.

When I've read the book, Mark, I'll fetch it over when we have that pint. I know your interest is waining but it's right up your street!

Wouldn't say my interest is waining, just that, I seem to have lots of other stuff to do at the mo.

I look forward to having a look & a pint hopefully when we get some decent weather.
