Old fella went to skool with one of the guys that built those. Recall that the early ones were built in a loft or summat?

The first GT prototype was built in the loftspace of an outbuilding at the rear of one of the founder's butchers shop.
I have wanted a GT for years, though I have to say the Invader has never tempted me (yet!)
