Christian was a great enthusiast who in the relatively short period of time since I met him when he first raced his dark green Austin Cooper S at Snetterton in 2009 established himself as a major supporter and force in Cooper S Appendix K racing, he will be sadly missed by all of us involved with these addictive little cars. All who met Christian found him friendly and approachable with a quiet manner and dry sense of humour. This is a cruel blow which has left many upset and low, in the coming months hopefully we will be able to temper this sorrow by remembering him for the good times, for his enthusiasm for the Cooper S and his restless desire to achieve the highest standards in all that he did.
My heart goes out to his wife and young family, words cannot express the grief they must be suffering. Also my thoughts are with Gerald, Philip and Leigh Dale at Dale Motorsport who had grown very close to Christian in the short period they have been involved in supporting his racing ambitions.
Rest In Peace Friend
