Here's the on-board footage of Tim’s exploits at the recent Wolds Trophy Meeting at Cadwell.
First up is race 1 for the under 1300cc cars, which means the Minis and Imps get a straight fight with no interruptions from the big boys.

And here's race 2, which sees all classes race together. A bit hairier in places but there is a bit of interference from an Alfa and Cortina.

It was wound so tight on the restart that it snapped, along with his diff. Unfortunately the bloke was last seen muttering that that was his season over as he can't afford a gearbox rebuild.

Imagine having that camera mounted in teh car, it would add about a second to your laps times.
Great footage though, thanks for posting Tim.

Excellent, I raced a bike at Cadwell, loved it. Is your clutch slipping slightly after each gearchange Tim?

Think there is some clutch slip. Got a dog box fitted now and I don't know if that has made any difference. I still tend to press the pedal a bit anyway.
I often seem to have a problem with clutch hydraulics . Has anyone else had problems with clutch slave cylinders for instance ?

Yep I seem to replace them every year, I have tried a billet alloy one this time.

Dog box is fine in hscc class D, though rumour has it some FIA cars run them too!
