Mk1 bitza project

Here I have is a Mk 1 mini which I've owned for many years ! It's been built in the 70s from a new shell using a clubman !

Don't know what to do with it really! Nearly sold it but couldn't bring myself to do it ! The guy was going to use a cooper log book on it and prob make a ££££ profit at someone's miss fortune! Oh well will keep my old mate and do something with it! Maybe long sprint project ! Needs usual mini repairs floor etc

Do you mean a new Mk1 shell was used and the running gear from the clubman built into it?
Looks to be a solid motor and well worth restoring, just a shame that there's so much demand to make fake coopers.

Yea old guy I got it off had a write off clubman when they were nearly new and he said that a mk1 shell was cheaper back then ! They were the days!
