Does anybody correct coulour for melcro spark plug spanner cheers Brian.

I'm not sure what a "melcro" plug spanner is, but the box spanner supplied in the original BMC toolkit I have personally never seen finished in any colour at all - just plain steel with probably a light cad or similar plating.

Do you mean MELCO?
As for me it was a BMC spanner (I'm after one)
And it wasn't paint, just steel

Found this whilst browsing. It's been restored, so I'm not sure if the colour is correct or not.

I can only say that none of the BMC cars I've owned over the years ever had one which had been painted.
