FE numbers.

I know there are a few of you out there would are good at dating cars by their FE numbers, I have a 66 1275 S but I have half an idea it has been reshelled, the number is FE956839, can anyone help please.

That would depend on when in 1966 your car was built.

The car was registered on 27th May 1966.

When it was built is far more important than when it was registered but it may not be too far away.
