Two quick questions

Post by nickacb »

I found this piece of felt in the boot of my mk1 mini, is this something I should keep or can I put in the trash as i suspect?

Are these brass hinges or not that early?

Judging from the shape of the underfelt, would I say LH rear footwell, on a later Mini (cut out for the seat fixing point)

Thanx for both answers, I was having trouble to fit that felt on my boot, now I know it doesn't even belong to the car.

It looks like a part of the British Leyland de Luxe set, that was factory fitted to some Mini,s in the 70ies, and could be bought as an accessorie/dealer fitted option.

My father had the Green 78 Mini fitted with such a set, unfortunally have some of the bits dissapeared over the years
