Here is my 1963 Morris Mini Minor Deluxe 848cc. It had a valid MOT when I bought it, but I'm not sure how. I bought the car 4 years ago intending to fully restore it. Other committments have slowed down the restoration process somewhat, but I am now back on to it. The scope of work has grown as well. I had intended to have it ready for its 50th birthday in June, but thats another deadline that will be missed. Car has new age related plate on it, but I also bought the original plate at the same time. This plate is currently on my Avensis, I may transfer it back when the resoration is complete. I managed to get the correct Morris grill to replace the Austin grill, but I still need to source the correct seats, the red ones I think come out of a Cooper. I intend to keep the car as original, no uprating, no Cooperistation, no radio, even no seat belts. Even keeping the original colour scheme.

Lovely. Same age as mine - also 50 in June this year.

That's a nice honest looking example. The front seats look to be out of an early Clubman.

Yes. Isn't it nice when people don't butcher these cars.
If only mine were that nice., I think that's the norm. commitments taking time from our precious projects. I guess that also includes other restoration projects.
