identify B L camamshaft

Just bought new all stock camshaft, Arrived this morning ,Should be BL 731 , But as only one ring on ,as i remember 731 had 3 rings , Its got 1/2 inch lobes and is the early pin drive with one ring, Can you identify it for me. before i contact the guy who sold it to me ,

731 has 3 rings but only 3/8" lobes.

I think you can copy and past my post in to word and enlarge it there, I'm not sure as I'm a real clutz with IT stuff.

It would seem what you have is a MKI Cooper S Cam. Not a bad cam, but a long way from an ST 731.

The one i had back in the eighties had 3 rings, could be re-profiled.

Thanks for your info on the Cam, The guy i bought it from as no problem with it being returned as he said it is a genuine mistake , So i am a happy
