Brooklands Double Twelve

The Brookands Double Twelve has a class for 50 years of the Cooper S this year, several forum members have taken part in this event in past years, it's a good way of using your cars in a spirited way at a historic motorsport location, more details can be found here

I've been told that Brooklands would like to have some Cooper S's at the press launch on the 28th of February,
if anyone is available to take their car for the day , PM me and I will pass on your details.

As I was there at the first 12/12 would you like me to bring the blue car? The date for 2014 could be a problem but I'm working on it! June is avert busy month for events.

This is a really cracking event a bit of Motoprsport, but not to strenuous on the car. With a really great atmosphere too.
I did the first one & will definitely do it again in the future.
No Comps Licence needed so it's a great "in" for someone who hasn't competed before.

The press release for the event has come out now, and it looks like the VSCC are going to allow the cars to run in the timed Sprint at Mercedes Benz World on the Saturday, I'm waiting for a response on what will be required to run a car in this
