Has anybody heard from Gareth recently. He was due to have a Microcell seat ready for me by January but I have had no contact from him since around September. Have tried texting and messaging him on here to no avail.

Yep similar for me dropped a pair of Restall type 4's off at his house recently for WNX 700H but no contact so far guess he is away at present?

I had a email conversation with Gareth last week re the seats for my radford. He has gone through a tough few weeks as his mother has passed away. Don't worry I'm sure he will be back shortly.

Thanks for the update. I am sure he will be in touch soon.

I met up with him Friday to give him my seats to trim, so he's alive and well but due to family problems, has a back log of work to clear. So be patient with him.

Would somebody mind giving Gareth a nudge. I am waiting for my Microcell seat and he has had a deposit from me but despite trying to contact him I have had no reply since September. I know Nev and Robert have spoken with him recently so perhaps you coudl be so kind? Thanks in advance. Mark

I too am waiting for my seats, now much overdue and can't get any response from Gareth, does anyone know if he's OK or is he just snowed under and can't be bothered to reply to anyone.

Hi Robert, my Microcell seat arrived a month or so ago out of the blue. A real work of art it is too.
Gareth contacted me to ask for payment but stated that he was not taking any more orders for the foreseeable future.
I have since contacted him to no avail but he is out there. Sorry I can't be more help than that.

Although I have not heard from Gareth for some months now, I would like to urge anyone waiting for seats to be patient. Gareth is a brilliant craftsman & the seats he does are absolutely second to none.

Unfortunately Gareth has had a few family problems over the last few months which I imagine are taking a little getting over.

Once he is back up & running I am sure that everyone will receive the items they have ordered & will be thrilled with the results. I certainly always have been in the past.

It would of course be a great help if Gareth could contact people just to let them know what the score is.

All I really want to know is what's happening.
I know I'll be pleased when they are finished, I've seen his work and it's first class.
I'm happy to be patient but it would be nice to be kept informed and at least acknowledge emails or calls.

Gareth is definitely around. I received an email overnight stating that he has just finished some seats for me and he also sent over some pictures of the finished product.

He wanted to add that he hasn't been coping very well lately, so I think you will have to bear with him on your orders. Needless to say, he's still around and operating though.

Sorry to hear Gareth is still having problems. I think he lost a family member late last year.
Glad to hear however, that seats are still being completed, I will patiently wait for mine - I know they will be worth the wait.

Glad to say that my two seats arrived today, beautifully remade and recovered (and superbly packaged).
Gareth was very apologetic about the delay and his non communication with people - it's just that he needs to concentrate on the work in hand to clear his backlog and not get distracted.
The seats were definitely worth the wait. And I think for others waiting, it is probably best to just let Gareth get on with them, as I think to chaise him only gives him added unwanted stress which he finds difficult to cope with sometimes.
Anyway, glad that the quality of his work has not suffered. I'm now delighted!

Couldn't agree more Robert.

Gareth is an absolute top bloke & brilliant craftsman, its far better to just let people like Gareth get on with their particular type of magic & be amazed by the result.
