Hope you like the pictures of my 1965 mini minor project.
I am a lot further along with the rebuild than these pictures show, and will add more pictures soon.

Quite a rare colour Island Blue on a '65 car as it was introduced quite late in the year to replace Surf, orange was even rarer !

Sorry that i have taken so long to update my rebuild, it is now finished-MOT last thursday[30th]sailed through,rolling road[fri]at sanspeed[bexleyheath]118BHP'@wheels.Had faultless run to Brighton on sunday-no oil or water leaks.I entered show "n" shine[for the secure parking ]and managed a 2nd place ,so altogether a great day out!Had some very nice compliments and the engine bay even made it into mondays telegraph motoring [online] suppliment-if anyone took pics i would love to see them. Not turbo'ed i'm afraid,but is 1380 ,nice head,45dcoe+short maniflow inlet,titan roller rockers,3-1ex,u/l flywheel+backplate,paddle plate,st/cut gears+transfer gears,3;65-1fd.goes and sounds very well!Best wishes ,PETER.

See previous post,but also has kent 296scatter cam,offset bowl pistons,Aldon red dist.steel con-rods,lightened wedged and polished crankshaft, tubular pushrods,eibach valve springs.-anyway whats in a number,it's what it goes like that matters
