lhd 997 rebuild

am just part way through a LHD 997 rebuild and thought i'd put a few pictures up to show these cars are worthy of restoring as are so rare now,
Originally sent to the States in Surf blue from new, but purchased by a German classic car restorer in 2012, i was fortunate to meet him at the Sept autojumble where i was displaying a 970s i had just finished, he made some very nice comments and asked if i'd restore his cooper, well 2 weeks later it arrived in the back of a sprinter, it appears to have been raced in the past with some mod's to the floor which resulted in a new floor assembly being built, its now nearly to accept the main body.
hope you like the pics..

Yes I do. Man it looked pretty good beforehand. Those floors are a work of art. Love it and love the spirit levels

Hi Tim

most of them, the boot floor is in a 998, had to get another boot floor for this one, the inner wings aren't allocated yet,
i think the rest will go on this one,
am chuffed with my purchase from you, cheers.
