VIN Number

Just been looking at the V5C for the mini and the second character of the third position is a 5 and the character for the fifth position is a 5.
I am thinking that it is a Mk1 Austin mini 2 door saloon, but has there been a mistake at DVLA at some time and should the two 5s be Ss, making it a super deluxe ?
That's as clear as mud isn't it.
