Has anyone experience with Maniflow's outrageously expensive LCB for remotes with rubber crosses? At double the price of the normal version is it worth it?

I used a 'standard' LCB and bashed the pipes to get clearance.
-The engine still gave 94hp at the wheels....

Although I am quite pedantic about exhaust manifolds, it seems this one wasn't so sensitive!

You used to be able to get a Janspeed manifold to suit the rubber coupling setup - the only difference was a relatively small flattened area on one of the downpipes. It is just a matter of getting in the correct area.

I don't know if Maniflow have changed their std LCB, but looking at my circa 1995 one on my Rover Cooper I'd reckon there is enough room for the rubber couplings. It is close, but I'd estimate they'd be a 5mm clearance. I've fitted one to another 60s car with rubber couplings and that fitted.
Thanks Simon. I used to have a Janspeed system on the car before the maniflow and now it appears Janspeed do not make manifolds for original minis anymore. I sold it and a Janspeed straight through system for 10 quid.

I have a standard manilfow LCB on PX Del and it's just a question of levering it away from the rubber coupling before tightening the clamps. Helps is you have a pit though!
