subframes and pipes

morning....the underside and engine bay of my shell is finally sitting in top coat...its now going back on its wheels for the rest of it to be preped and then trailered to the spray shop.......now its quite a long time since i removed all the old pipes underneath and i'm wishing i took a photo! So i think i need to route the fuel pipe before i fit either subframe, and i think the front to rear brake pipe can be fitted after the subframes go in? Is that correct? I have the remains of the old pipes as a guide but they have snapped in a couple of places. I have some more questions but will leave it there for now! Thanks for your help!

The pipes should be fitted before the frames, as they go up the fornt of the rear frame.

They can be fitted afterwards, but not in the exactly correct location.

Are you using steel or Kunifer?

ah right thanks, they are from mini spares and both the fuel pipe and the brake kit kit are in copper.
its not a problem fitting them before it goes in, i just wanted to make sure i got it the right way round, i was all ready to fit the front subframe at the weekend and completly forgot i needed to do the pipes as well.
so basically fit both the fuel and brake pipes first, then fit the subframes.

much easier to put them in first.
Don't forget you need your steering rack in before the fron frame too.

yeah i have put the rack in already, so i'll get bending these pipes this week and hopefully get the frames in at the weekend.

the other question i have is regarding the servo, i have converted to a Cooper S setup on the car as i will be running a larger engine and i have the servo as well, the pipe kit from mini spares also comes with the copper pipes for the servo. Is there a diagram/picture anywhere that shows where the pipes feeding in/out of the servo should connect to? i guess if not i just need to have a look in a car with a servo fitted.

thanks for your help
