Master Cylinder part number help

Have got a NOS master cylinder here, have the part number on the box of 4423-071 and C3/4 bore marking on the cylinder itslef, can someone tell me what its off please?

If the mfr's number is actually 4223-071, then it is for an Austin A40. Clutch master.
