This may be obvious for some but i havent got a clue and i am bidding on some hardy spicer output shafts that are supposed to be cooper s nos. Is there any other hardy spicer output shafts off any other variants i should be aware of before i buy these?(i recall something about auto boxes) I have a 22g1128 box with the rubber coupler type outputs. Apart from the side covers what else will be required to swap over to the hardy spicers? Thanks Steve.

Steve - are these the ones with the 'wax runs' on? I bought the exact same set (well same pic and description) from the guys website the other day.
The S output shafts from the diff itself are thicker than later ones, dont know how they compare to the rubber coupling type though.

yes, but it looks like we wont be using them as when i bought them i didnt know they didnt fit the later size of diff outputs.
We'll be using the lsd outputs we already have and changing the lsd instead.
plan 1 was to fit the new MS twin pin diff we had and these hs outputs but that dont work..

Just to cover all the parts that differ between the rubber uni outputs and the Hardy Spicer one, the output drive flanges, the side covers, diff half shafts, the bolt in the centre, and inside the output drive flanges is a little retaining seat, there are 2 halfs in each flange. Seals are also different and there is an additional seal in the HS types, where the bolt goes in.
