Post by lisian_1275 »

Hi Guys
Can anyone tell me what the flow figures are on the new Arden 8 Port Crossflow?????? :?: :geek:
I am putting a new Arden head on my Flowbench an d would like to compare the results.
Also if anyone has a Crossflow they have had flowed, I would be interested in their results.

So no takers. Oh well, hear are the results.
This is for an out of the box, untouched as yet, Arden Race Crossflow.
Taken at 25"
.100 31.1 Cfm
.200 68.1
.300 98.1
.400 122.5
.500 137.9

Air Speed 330.9 ft/sec
Potential Hp 148.93
Got to be happy with that.
Will give an update when I have finished modifying the head and it run on the Dyno.

Thanks

Ian

Thanks for a very interesting post Ian.

Is that the figures for one of the New Minispares ones or an original?

Although we have a good depth of knowledge on here I doubt there are many regular posters who have a flow bench handy.

Hi
This is for a new Arden from Minispares, the race version which I believe is the regular head except with higher tension springs and 37mm Inlet valve. I can stand corrected though. :|

Thanks
