Disk Brake Pads

I am converting my Single Leading Shoes to Cooper 7 inch disks. The brake calipers are 998s verses the earlier 997s. That being said, what disk pads should I use (Brand, Part #)?

Have you ever driven a 998 Cooper? I have two cars with the 998 7" set up and I think they're fine. No servo, so to stop quicker, press harder!

The very best set up twin leading drums would be on a parr, but most drums have issues, adjusters are a poor design in my opinion.

Cheers!

Yeah I have its quick but push harder and drums stop too but I still have binned my drums cause they are a waste of time and think my rear drums will be going too.

I hate to say it but I swapped to Green stuff (at some expense) and whilst very good in all honesty I found my old Mintex cheapies to be just as effective. My car is pretty quick (1380, big twin Su cam etc) The Green stuff are pretty poor when cold too. No science in it but that was my feeling.
I would imagine if you used the car on a track the Green stuff would perform better. Assuming it is a regular 998 then I would just go with the cheaper stuff. Hope this answers your question. Mark
