I have some books about mini's and racing. But like to know if there are more books with mini's and racing.
Clive Trickey Books I have:
Wally Hall:
Christabel Carlisle:
John Baggott:
Bill Sollis:
I have more in the box. But at least of the first 3 books/writers I like to know if there are more of these kind of books.
Greetings Roald.

I must say that the book by John Baggott is absolutely brilliant. The one by Bill Sollis kind of disappointed me.

Some nice books there
but the car on the cover of the Wally Hall book looks intersting? it has a MG grille, I have read in the Jon Pressnell book (page 77) that only one Mini is known with MG badging, and this car has also featured in a old issue of Mini World, so how come this one had a MG grille
as the grill piece is a completely different shape to the Wolseley & Riley version.

Here is an article from Wally Hall
http://www.mgcars.org.uk/news/news106a.html
I even have 3 photo's of when they build the car.
@Vegard: that's true, The book of Bill is a little dissapointing. But the Book of John Baggott is great.
I have another book of Eddie Green
It is a book of the 1969 rally championship. With some famous names one of them Will Sparrow finishing 3rd in Championship. Many result to be found in that one. Will Sparrow didn't drove the WNX700 that year.

My two favourites are both listed there;
How to build & race an 850 Mini was the first Mini book I ever read, it's still one of my favourites. Trickey really makes a young kid believe that he can go out and race too. It was however only some 25 years after reading the book that I tried & realised that building the car was a lot easier than having the balls to actually be good.
Then there's Mr Baggots book, the only real attempt at chronicling a massive & much un written about subject.

I also have some interesting "racing minis" books :
Trickey's Tuning the Mini, 1st Edition, first appeared as a series of articles in C&CC :
Anatomy of a Works Mini, by Brian Moylan:
And the Works Mini, by Peter Browning :
Three excellent books in English.
And 2 very interesting books, in French, but fully illustrated :
The story of racing minis in France, by Enguerrand Lecesne (Member Pluto Racing Team on the Forum)
The full story of Monte Carlos Minis, with more than 380 photos !

It's a good book but Baggott was limited by the constraints of info available at the time, I did help John as much as I could with it but photos were very thin on the ground back then and we didn't have the internet so everything was done by post or phone call. Shame really cos there's mountains of new pics and info come to light since it was written.
The Lecesne book is great with lots of pics, all in French of course as is the Monte Carlo book but I've not seen that one for sale for less than £80 !!

What I can tell is that I'm working on a Dutch version of John Baggotts book. It will not be a journalistic masterpiece. I'm not a journalist like Jeroen Booij. I do it because I like race mini's in any kind there is.
But there are some sports, where mini raced, I miss in the book of John Baggott. In the time that I found some interresting articles and photo's and results for the Dutch book, I also found enough info to start at a world wide version. That will take age's to complete. But that's why I also made the website
www.racemini.nl . I can use help from everywhere to complete that. And some people already gave me a lot of info. Special thanks to the people from Denmark !!
Greetings Roald.

You are correct.
But it's just a page from the book. I'm so happy with this book. So many results and so many mini's who where used in that year.
It's a big help for my website.
Roald.

The most remarkable person on the list is Dave Cabena who competed in every ToM.
