Sunny scotland?!?!
well for the first time in a while theres has been a sunny day in perth scotland and im actually free this weekend to get the cars out in the sun. since my dad Graeme allan passing away i must admit i havnt had much time to spend on them and to be perfectly honest been a bit scared to however i had a beautiful collection to choose from to take out on the road today so what to choose??
well seeming i had a choice of a 970s 1071s 1275s and a mini super the choice was a tough one
hell i went for the super i love this car out of the lot is may be by far the slowest but is so much fun to drive ok i may be overtaken by a old man in his electric wheel chair but at least he can admire my car as he passes haha
anyway purpose of this post is to find out from other people if they have been managing to get there cars out the past few weeks befre they have to be locked away for the winter
happy motoring everyone

I had my car out, a few weeks back, when I had people from UK here.
The weather was great = 31 degrees celcius with sun.
Tomorrow & monday will be good too, so I might take her for a drive.

And those people had a great time riding in a superb W&P turbo Clubman ! Thanks, Christian, for the hospitality. Ant is still sharing the photos with everyone.

Hi Nick,
it was great to be able to show the car, to someone who appreciates all the work.
I am happy that you & your wife, also liked the restaurant in Sweden .
Thanks for nice company & talk .

Mini's are car's and were build to drive people around.
One thing I allways admire when i visit England is that on every road you can admire the most sought after car's driving allong. I have seen car's with wooden wheels !.
They were not build to put in a museum.
Been at the hystoric monte carlo rally and there are car's over 500000 euro's driving in yce-walls,and breaking down. The owner's love theyr car's but love it even more to do what they are build for.
Hav fun with it,they are for our joy.

Well last weekend it was still Sunny Scotland.
Went for a run with 4 other cars to Applecross. The road takes in some fantastic sights and takes you over mountains on single track roads 2000ft above sea level.

Re: Sunny scotland?!?!
Cracking photos
Might be sunny in Perth Scotland but wasn't sunny in Aberdeeen Scotland.....
Still no mini action up north... Just had remains of a hurricane,...... Trees everywhere..... And not the way they should be.....
Applecross is a must.. Scene can't be appreciated unless your there...
Anyone else from scotland on here? Try www.scottishmini.net organise a number of runs....

I hope you are as lucky as we were with the weather. With cool frosty mornings and sunny days, it could be perfect.sallan850 wrote:those are some lovely pictures heading up to apple cross later this month should be fun
