Just looking at the Minispares site and I find this a bit confusing?
I'm after genuine mounts, but mini spares seem to be telling me to buy copies?
http://minispares.com/product/Classic/E ... o%20search
I've also been told by a few people to avoid the poly ones?
Any thoughts? I've currently got captive nut ones and they are rubbish.

i always use the gen ones, but the cheap ones are ok. the trick with either is to compare them before you fit them, as quality can suffer from batch to batch.
the use of the ones with the nuts welded to them are the sign of a poorly built car (in my opinion), the poly two piece ones are just a joke

Hey Rich, what are your ideas on the later rubber style subframe mounts, standard rubber, poly or solid.
Cheers Paul.

Almondgreen,
Rich was referring to the Solid Subframe mounting kit, not solid engine mounts.

Proper good quality rubber.
By all means hang everything else on poly, but do isolate your engine vibration wise as much a possible.
It's good engineering form.
