tax disc date

Post by mricsman »

I'm ordering a repro. tax disc and want to make sure I get the expiry date correct. Can someone please advise.

The car was first registered in December 1969 but the date stamp on the original green logbook, for the first owner of the car, is in February 1970.

Would the tax disc expire 12 months (or whatever) from Dec. '69 or Feb. '70?

Many thanks.

If it was registered in December the tax would probably have expired the following November - or possibly March if it was a four month disc.
