Re: 1960 mini van... Errrrm, interesting!
i think im in the minority of one, in that i both like this van, and think the black and red combo suits it better than the 'all over' red it sported before.
if i had the time and the space for another 'slighty wrong' unloved mini project i would be all over this like a rash!
its a little slice of mini history and should be kept, just to remind people that it wasnt always about 100 point restored cooper s's and factory fresh 1959's
its also pretty obvious that someone at the dvla has a sense of humour, how else did it get lumbered with a 'YUK' plate

I think i may be related to rich as i like that as well!
I love the rear door
I would change the lights to something more period and remove the vents!
Then paint it gold with a set of d1s
hmmmmmmm
and its near me - thank god i cant afford it!
Cheap van in all honesty

Interestingly this van was registered one day earlier than the Marigold one on the other thread .

Accordingly this must be the oldest Minivan recorded if you believe the info on the auction site, in that case it would be a cheap purchase, then return it to van status and then it should be worth £20,000 !!!
