Hello, I bought a pair of the side mirror like the one on the picture. The problem is you can bearly see the mirror of the passenger side. Is there any kind of extension or any option besides drilling?

Re: Side mirrors
I asume these were made for fitting to the top of the doorframe, so they are "hanging"
That way you see them, I have seen several early Mini,s like that.

Re: Side mirrors
My 61 had the square (trapezoidal) mirrors on the front fenders. Round ones fitted in the same place would do just as well. Somehow I prefer the mirrors on the tops of the fenders.

Re: Side mirrors
I recently bought an early Elf/Hornet door which came with a similar mirror. Two holes have been tapped on the top of the door frame - so they hang as JC one states - and the stainless steel trim cut to fit around the bracket.
Any idea of the brand?

Re: Side mirrors
I don't remember in which forum I got this pic, so I can't see if the mirror is drilled in or clamped on, I probably think it is drilled in just as
NZ says.
