H4s - optimum desired fuel pressure?

......for a racing application. What is the best optimum pressure that will supply enough fuel for going round fast corners but at the same time will not blow apart your float valve seats?

afaik, 3 psi should do the job...

Whilst on the subject ; Has anyone on here ever had a problem with fuel starvation with h$'s?
