Hi all
Not yet an S owner but working on it. Looking at a Aussie spec Mk1 cooper s at the moment. Car has a very good body and is complete with matching numbers. Car was subject to a full rebuild about 3 years back including NEW hydrolastic suspension and bare metal resto. period dash and steering wheels present and steel wheels and hubcaps. However the current owner has taken the cylinder head off to use on his historic race car. So I would need to find another to put back on the car.
My question is How hard is it to get a 1275 head that is in keeping with the cars originality and will it have a big effect on the Value of the car? or wont it really matter? The car is also supplied with the manifold and a pair of 1'1/4" su's. I believe the car had 1'1/2 Su's before and again not sure what it should have and If it matters?
Any feed back would be appreciated as im a Noob to minis.
Cheers
Brad
