Wife went out last night so I became Caractacus Potts in the kitchen (drilled through the floor mat!)
Check out the hanging mount attention to detail is the key

Nice one Paul. Some years ago we made clocks out of Mk1 speedos. Minis are extremely useful as donors for household items. I have seen barbecues made from Mini gearbox casings and even a candelabra made entirely from Mini engine parts including pulley, pushrods and cam followers.

But... but... but... How do you tell the time???? There's only ten holes to act as the "numbers" on a clock.
Which brings up an interesting exercise. Describe which way something is rotating
without refering to a clock.

Describe which way something is rotating without referring to a clock.
What is conventionally known as clockwise can be described as - Tighty - A screw is screwed in clockwise.
What is conventionally known as anticlockwise can be described as - Loosey - A screw is screwed out anti clockwise.
So goes the old adage:
Righty Tighty
Lefty Loosey.

Sad aren't I.
