These are easy to do yourself. The cores are replaceable & the cases just need blasting & re painting usually.

If you are looking to get the paint and lettering correct, there is a guy on the Mini Mania forum who does a very good job, based on the photos I've seen. He's U.S., though, and if you are not, you should be able to find someone a bit closer.

Re: Fresh air heater
Am I the only one who thinks his refurbished panels could be better? The crackled powder coating is a bit far from the original finish. Still, seems to be the only person at the moment doing these reproductions?

Not the only one. Brian Purves does a nice job and we at Min-e-bitz have restored a few in the past. Have a look at the one in SWR719F.

Re: Fresh air heater
Nick, I was under the impression Brian was not doing them anymore... read it on the MCR forum I think. I can be wrong, though. Anyway, I already did mine.
If the person who started this thread wishes to contact me - he is from Portugal, I believe - I can help with the refurbishment only. I don't have any heaters for sale. But he is requesting (Wanted section) one for a 997 Cooper, so should be one of the other models.

Re: Fresh air heater
I used to do these on an exchange basis, but after sending a couple of sets out to people who swore they would send me a replacement set as soon as they removed them, I was left 2 sets down with none to refurbish.
As I charged £20 to do them I decided to cut my losses & not bother any more
