Gearbox numbers

Can anybody tell me what N, S or X means above the 22G333 bit means on an 'S' gearbox please. Cheers.

Hi...

Yes there should be an X, Y, or Q on a 333 Box...

333 X = later 970S
333 Y = early 1275S Mk I
333 Q = late 1275S Mk I

Just noticed my box has "SM" directly above the 333 number. What that mean Kema Sabe??
