1071 Cooper S Camshaft

Post by rolesyboy »

Anybody give me a heads up on what cam is needed for a 1071 S engine please? What does it look like and how would it differ from say a 1275 S (if at all) Cheers. Mark

Forgive me but what is the difference between a 510 and this one? I have been offered one stamped/Graded EN32. How much would something like this be worth? Cheers. Mark

An original will be Pin Drive, 1/2" Lobes and no rings or other ID on the shaft. The 510's where the same but had a single ring. Best to measure it or have it measured to be sure what you have and that it's not worn. The 'EN32' I am not familiar with as a cam grind per se, just wondering if it an Elgin from the states?
