Hmm? I wish to fit a roof aerial to my Mk3 S.
I thought I may be able to faff around with the rear view mirror but on inspection no way at all.
So I suspect it's front screen out? to drop the headlining.
Did they do this when they were new at the dealers? I suppose MK1's are easy to get the roof lining out. But Mk3's are a proper job. Did any animals cut the headlining?!
Any ideas?
Oh and if you have a Radiomobile aerial going spare I'd like to buy it..

Hi
you might be able to get the job done, if you pull the roof lining by the door opening ?
I am not 100% sure but it seems like its worth a try .
I see you write Radiomobile Aerial, if you are after the type of antenna, that both Radford - Wood & Pickett used, then its a fabricate called World Radio.
I have heard that these are being reproduced ?? havent seen one thou

Hmm?
That sounds like it may be feasable.
If I pull off the door seal then the headling is perhaps an inch from the roof. Too tight for a human hand.
How does the headling fit? Is it on sprung steel bows? Then I could pop them off to perhaps get in to it.
PITA!

Yes its on steel bows, so maybe you can "unhook" one, and get to the aerial.
Make sure you dont unhok the other side too, and be care full, sometimes the plastic ends have gone brittle
