Its with great saddnes I have to announce that 1071DK, aka Peter Kyö has left us.

Peter was a member of the MCR since 2006, and posted inhere too.

He had a passion for Racing Cooper,s and S,s especially the Danish ones.

He had traced the history on almost every Mini, that had ever raced in Denmark,
even the ones, that raced around the world with Danish drivers.

He had a HUGE library, and thousands of genuine 60ies photos, of race Mini,s .

His dream was to write a book about the subject, but sadly that dream will never come true.

my deepest condolences to Karen & the rest of Peter,s family.

Jens Christian

So sad to hear this.

Was on the the phone with Peter only 2 weeks ago.

Had a good talk with him at the Historic race meeting at Djursland 3 weeks ago.

He was allways to be seen when Mini coopers where out racing.

Peter was allways so helpfull tracing old customs import papers at the Danish customs archives.
He found my old 1962 MGB.

He will be missed

yes very sudden, I was on the phone only last week with him, and he was fresh as always, asking if I came over to Aarhus Historic Race.

He had collapsed at home, he suffered from what I think you call a Aneurysms (when a vain suddenly expands, but dont burst) in the brain.

He died in the hospital, less than 24 hours later.

I will really miss, our interesting race Mini talks, on the phone.

Peter had a knowledge on this subject, that was unbelivable.
