Doors let water in at the top...

I have a problem with my doors in that if I wash the car (with a hose) or it is driving rain the seals let water past them at the top of the door frame ie above the windows. It then drips onto the seats or the poor sod sat in the seat. What is the best solution? Is it to tap the aperture over towards the seal with a block of wood?? THe doors fit beautifully everywhere else with no sailors leg or wonky a panels. We are off on the L2B and would prefer to remain dry at least until we get in our tent
Thanks Mark

If the main part of the doors are fitting nicely, you'll need to gently bend the window part in. I have seen a BMC bulletin on how to do it and hopefully someone here has but I have done it easily enough and long before I saw the bulletin.

Basically you find a nice piece of softwood, say 6" long and maybe 2" section (1 is OK).
Open door, place piece of wood between door and body just where the door latch is, push on top of door GENTLY. Remove wood - does door top touch seal? Maybe open door, move wood the front of door, try again.
The trick is to be subtle and not try to do it all in one move.
If the top is too tight, put the wood at the top and push on door just under window.....
Cheers, Ian

Here's a pic from the aforementioned BMC bulletin which shows the method used as explained by Al and Ian.
