I have 2 rebound rubbers on a teardrop shaped metal plate. I understand they are fitted to prevent the hydro spring stretching on the rear subframe. I had never seen them before and wondered if there are any pics of this item in place or if some kind soul would tell me where they are meant to be fitted. Cheers. Mark

If It's what I think they are, they are bolted to the subframe web, roughly behind the trailing arm knuckle housing.
Does that make any sense.? :|

Are the not the ones that bolt to the rear arm?

I think Inmia is on the right track. They are different to the ones that sit atop the radius arm (I have ST chunky boys fitted on here) They are about 1 1/4 long and 3/4 inch across. Flat rubber circle affair maybe 1/3 inch tall. Thanks for your input guys. Mark

Here's a pic of roughly where the rebound buffer goes. Opposite side to this pic.
You are looking at the left hand side leading edge of the (scrap subby in this case) subby, the face that's against the heelboard.
There are two holes, the larger is for a bolt to pass through and a smaller locating hole for the locating pin on the buffer.
Wet subframes should have these holes ready drilled. If yours isn't drilled I'll take some measurements for you.
