Which needle?

Hi Chaps,

Anyone got a suggestion for the needle on my 998 Cooper engine while the blower is off. The exhaust valves are next size up, exhaust ports are opened, inlets standard, 9:1 compression, 3 into 1, single box RC40 and 1 1/2" SU on alloy inlet manifold. I'm just looking for something to let me get the engine run in. I'm using an ABX at the moment but it's too weak up the revs. Thought about a DZ but not given it a try yet.

Cheers,
Kev

my super deluxe is running a very similar spec and i,ve been using a aaa needle for a couple of years, and it runs very well.

I ran a similar spec 998 with a 295 head as well. Single Hs4.

I think the AAA is the richest .090 factory needle you can get. Correct me if I'm wrong
